How FSU's drone team is assisting with Hurricane Ian search and rescue efforts

FSU’s Center for Disaster Risk Policy drone team was dispatched to Cape Coral and then to Naples last Thursday. The team is controlling remotely piloted aircraft that fly over areas impacted by Hurricane Ian’s landfall for urban search and rescue purposes. Read more ...

A research team led by Angelina Sutin, a professor in the College of Medicine's Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine, found that the population-wide stressor of the COVID-19 pandemic made younger adults moodier, more prone to stress, less cooperative and trusting and less restrained and responsible. Read more ...
