I loved knitting my Aisneach mitts so much that I knew I had to make a whole matching set! The hat and cowl are both knit in DK weight yarn, but you could also use 4ply yarn held double. The hat has both a beanie and a slouchy option - mine is obviously the slouchy option! 

The hat has four sizes from Toddler to Large Adult while the cowl has two sizes - Child and Adult so you could make a matching set for the whole family! The pattern looks great in solid, semi-solid and tonal yarns as well as my favourite speckled yarn!
