Weekly In Progress Report




Tuesday, September 10, 2019 - 12:00 PM

The presentation will give an overview of renewable energy, engine emissions and environmental fluid mechanics (pollution dispersion) at QUT. Recent projects to be discussed include:

  • Renewable fuels (hydrothermal liquefaction, tire oil, biodiesel and algae based fuels)
  • Real time emission measurements in ships, trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Environmental fluid mechanics using Lagrangian techniques for pollution dispersion

Bonus: There will be open time from 1-3pm following the seminar to meet with Dr. Brown in small groups to discuss topics of mutual interest.
