"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.” ― Mary Anne Radmacher

Hi

I hope life is treating you well this Sunday morning.

Firstly, I apologise for plastering my face on this week's email. I'm sort of making a point to myself - courage and authenticity.

Not to give you FOMO but that quote came up today on the Frankly Unstoppable Retreat and I just thought it was wonderful - thank you Shika x

This is a special email because I'm writing it from the retreat. I'm currently sitting alone in my Shepherd's Hut accommodation, overlooking the North Downs of Kent, wind fiercely blowing outside, heater on inside and enjoying some soft neo soul. My coachees are at yoga, deserving some much needed connection to body and self after this mornings' activities and revelations.

I felt quite overwhelmed today. Having lived a very different life before becoming a coach, today was a very special moment - I didn't hate what I was doing. I didn't feel tired or exhausted. I wasn't worried about emails. I didn't feel stuck at any point - unable to answer a question, direct a situation or support an event. I was just me, being me (with some experience and knowledge of course) but getting certified never felt like a chore. It was easy to do the coaching courses because they resonated so much to my whole being.

I am in my power.

I had some headshots done this week in a bid to be authentic - both for my mental health and also to you. Have a read of this week's blog post The importance of being authentic for your mental well-being. I explained more about why being authentic is important.

I want you to think about these questions: Are you being authentic? Are you being true to yourself, your needs, your wants, your desires, your dreams? Do you live through your values?

When we aren't being authentic to ourselves, we suffer. We lose confidence, we fall down the rabbit hole of negativity and despair and we feel like this is it, this is life.

Living authentically will show you exactly what life is and what life can be, only if you are being true.

What you put out, you will get back. You'll be in complete sync with yourself and troubles will be easier to manage.

Go through your day today being authentic. Don't just 'like' something on social media for the sake of it. Choose your foods mindfully. Speak only if you're adding to a conversation. Take time to reflect and see what unfolds.

Have a great week!

Lots of love

Puja x
