Dear Members,
January 2026 marked a strong start to the year for P@SHA, with impactful representation at both CES 2026 in Las Vegas and ITCN Asia 2026 in Lahore. Through international engagement, strategic roundtables, and cross-border collaborations, we continued positioning Pakistan’s IT & ITeS sector on the global stage.
Our delegation at CES showcased Pakistan’s innovation strength, while at ITCN Asia we led high-level discussions on scaling IT exports, AI-driven growth, cybersecurity resilience, startup expansion, and industry transformation. Strategic MoUs with Resecurity and Data Vault Pakistan further reinforced our commitment to capacity building, digital infrastructure, and ecosystem development.
Through active government engagement, committee-led initiatives, skills development programs, and industry roundtables, P@SHA remains focused on driving exports, enabling innovation, strengthening policy advocacy, and creating tangible value for our members.
As we move forward in 2026, the CEC remains committed to industry-led growth, global market access, and building a future-ready technology ecosystem for Pakistan.

P@SHA Delegation at CES 2026
The P@SHA Delegation proudly represented Pakistan at CES 2026, held from January 6–9, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and organized by the Consumer Technology Association.
This year, 13 participating companies and 15 delegates represented Pakistan’s technology industry, engaging with global innovators, investors, and technology leaders from around the world.
From the outset, the delegation actively connected with key stakeholders across the exhibition floor, engaging in discussions around emerging technologies, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and innovation-led growth. Through these interactions, the delegation highlighted Pakistan’s expanding IT exports, innovation capabilities, and the country’s growing presence in the global technology ecosystem.
As conversations deepened over the three days, delegates explored strategic partnerships, knowledge exchange opportunities, and potential collaborations that can contribute to sustainable growth within Pakistan’s IT and startup sectors. The engagements also provided valuable insights into global best practices, market trends, and future-focused technologies.
On January 8, a dedicated networking dinner was organized in collaboration with Resecurity, bringing together industry leaders for focused dialogue. The discussion centered on Pakistan’s evolving IT landscape, global market access, and strengthening cross-border connectivity to enable meaningful and long-term partnerships.
The delegation’s presence at CES 2026 reaffirmed Pakistan’s growing relevance on the international technology stage. Through strategic engagement and active participation, P@SHA successfully showcased the strength, talent, and innovation potential of Pakistan’s tech ecosystem to a global audience.

P@SHA at ITCN Asia 2026 – Lahore
P@SHA marked a strong presence at ITCN Asia 2026 in Lahore with active participation across all three days of the event.
The event commenced with the opening ceremony addressed by Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, alongside Chairman P@SHA, Mr. Sajjad Syed, Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Umair Nizam, and other industry leaders. The P@SHA Booth was officially inaugurated by Mr. Faisal Jeddy, CEO PSEB, together with members of the P@SHA Central Executive Committee (CEC).
Throughout the event, P@SHA’s CEC and Secretariat engaged extensively with stakeholders, sharing insights on ongoing initiatives, advocacy efforts, and member services.

P@SHA and Resecurity, Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Sunday, 18 January 2026 at ITCN Asia 2026, Lahore. The MoU was signed by Syed Ali Abbas Hasani, Secretary General – P@SHA, and Sharafat Khan, Managing Director (Pakistan) – Resecurity.
This collaboration establishes a structured partnership focused on cybersecurity training and capacity building, enhanced member benefits, event sponsorship and support, and joint industry and policy engagement, aimed at strengthening cybersecurity readiness across Pakistan’s IT and ITeS sector

P@SHA and Data Vault Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday, 19 January 2026, at ITCN Asia 2026, Lahore. The MoU was signed by Syed Ali Abbas Hasani, Secretary General – P@SHA, and Syed Zeeshan Ali, Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer – Data Vault Pakistan.
This collaboration establishes a strategic partnership focused on strengthening Pakistan’s AI and digital infrastructure through advanced data center capabilities, GPU-as-a-Service offerings, cloud solutions, and scalable AI infrastructure. The partnership aims to support innovation, enable emerging technologies, and create new opportunities for P@SHA members within the evolving digital ecosystem.

Policy Roundtable on Scaling Pakistan’s IT Exports at ITCN Asia 2026
On January 18, 2026, P@SHA’s Policy Team hosted a high-level roundtable titled “Scaling Pakistan’s IT Exports from $3.8B to $15B” at ITCN Asia 2026 in Lahore, bringing together industry leaders, exporters, and key stakeholders to discuss the structural reforms needed to accelerate export growth. The discussion focused on key bottlenecks in market access, infrastructure, taxation, regulatory frameworks, and skills development, with participants sharing practical recommendations to strengthen Pakistan’s IT export ecosystem. The session opened with remarks by P@SHA Chairman Mr. Sajjad Syed, and Managing Partner sAi Venture Capital, Mr. Ahsan Jamil who underscored the importance of coordinated, forward-looking reforms and sustained public–private collaboration to unlock the sector’s full export potential.

P@SHA MasterClass: AI Product Development Track
P@SHA successfully conducted a Masterclass on the AI Product Development Track in Islamabad, titled “A Practical Founder-Led Journey from Concept to Launched Product,” led by Hassan Syed. The session was designed specifically for CXOs and senior management, offering strategic and practical insights into building and scaling AI-driven products. Participants gained firsthand perspectives on product ideation, validation, development, and market launch from a founder’s point of view. A total of 25 senior professionals attended the session, reflecting strong industry interest in AI-led product innovation. This initiative reinforces P@SHA’s commitment to enabling industry leadership with practical knowledge to drive AI adoption and business growth.

Positioning Pakistan’s Animation & Games Industry for Global Lens - Roundtable at ITCN Lahore 2026
P@SHA organized a strategic roundtable discussion on Day 3 of ITCN Asia Lahore, held from 17–19 January 2026, bringing together key stakeholders from Pakistan’s animation and games ecosystem. The session focused on the theme “Positioning Pakistan’s Animation & Games Industry for Global Lens,” with a facilitated workshop to gather industry insights for the upcoming Animation & Games Report. The discussion enabled participants to share perspectives on export potential, global positioning, industry challenges, and priority areas for ecosystem growth. A total of 35 participants, including industry leaders, studios, and ecosystem enablers, actively contributed to the dialogue. The roundtable proved highly fruitful, generating valuable inputs to strengthen Pakistan’s global narrative and inform future industry development initiatives led by P@SHA.
