Prayer requests from Resonate Global Mission missionaries and ministry leaders
Prayer Points

Prayer Points from ministry leaders around the world:

  • Resonate missionary Caspar Geisterfer in Honduras is discipling a young adult who was recently appointed to lead the youth group at her church. She accepted the position but admitted that she’s intimidated. Ask the Holy Spirit to encourage and equip her as she leads students in her church.

  • Give thanks for the ways the Holy Spirit works when we say 'yes' to God. Pray for believers who are seeking to connect with neighbors and share their faith.

  • Resonate missionaries Noah and Maria Ward, who serve in Thailand, ask you to pray for conversations with students who are curious or confused about Christianity. One young girl recently explained that she is half Buddhist and half Christian—she loves reading and hearing about Jesus’ miracles but she finds them unbelievable. Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue working in this girl’s life!

  • All Nations Seminary, a Resonate partner in Mexico, recently started a new academic semester. Resonate missionaries Abe and Elaine Lee ask you to pray for the students, faculty, and staff. Pray this will be a fruitful year of learning with and from one another.

  • Comunidad Cristiana Internacional (International Christian Community), a Resonate church plant partner in Michigan, has been streaming their worship services over Facebook Live. Because of that, 250-350 families have connected with the church online! Some of these families are in Colombia and Chile. Pray that the gospel will continue to spread.

  • Resonate missionaries Michael and Kim Essenburg give thanks that more than 200 students are learning about God, God’s world, and their place in God’s world through the ministry at Kyoto International University Academy.

Your Prayer Matters!

We recently asked you to pray for Hesed Community Church, a Resonate partner church plant in Detroit, Michigan. Thank you for praying!

“These are trying times for all of us. I'm sure you've experienced your share of adaptation and grief this year," said Hesed's pastors, Nate Bull and Mark Van Andel.

Detroit has lost more than 2,300 people in Covid-19-related deaths, and many people have lost employment. But Nate and Mark said they've also seen amazing resilience from friends and neighbors.

"People have come together in generosity and determination to face these difficulties head on. We've seen people sharing food, driving friends to doctor appointments, and supporting each other with educational endeavors," they said. "May we all grow in our faith during these days of opportunity.”

Please continue to pray for Hesed Community Church and their city!
