There's still time to take part in the Lost Words Trail

Kids can help the guardian of the lost words to capture the missing words hidden at eight Penhill locations.

Each spot hosts a nature-themed word displayed on an outside window or floor, which they should note down ultimately revealing the hidden word.

How to sort your recycling correctly

Sorting your recycling into separate boxes makes it much safer and quicker for our crews and means they can move to the next street faster, reducing the impact on local traffic.

Sorting your recycling is simple. Put paper and cardboard in one box and glass, metal and aerosols in another. If you have more than two boxes why not consider using a box for each material.

£30m regeneration of Queens Drive

Last week it was agreed that 149 affordable homes and flats will be built on the former George Gay Gardens along Queens Drive.

Work on the first phase of the £30m development is expected to start early next year and could be completed by mid-2021. Construction of the second phase will start once the first phase is finished and the whole development is likely to be complete by 2023.
