The International Court of Justice (ICJ) rules it can hear Guyana-Venezuela boundary case

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Friday ruled that it could hear Guyana’s case on the validity of the 1899 Arbitral Tribunal Award that settled the land  dispute with Venezuela.

Venezuela was criticised for not participating in the hearing on the jurisdiction of the World Court.

The Court said the judgement on jurisdiction is “final and binding on the parties.”      Continue reading →

Max Ehrmann was an American attorney and poet who often wrote on spiritual themes. During his life, he contributed great thoughts to our literary lexicons, blending the magic of words and wisdom with his worthy observations.
