Envoy of the Month Interview: Yan Pun

Meet Yan Pun, a seasoned globetrotter with roots in both Cantonese and Taiwanese heritage, who migrated to Australia in the 1980s.

Growing up near Hong Kong’s iconic Kai Tak Airport, her fascination with travel was shaped early on by her mother’s career as a tour guide and her father’s adventurous spirit.

Now based in Melbourne, Yan balances a thriving career with her passion for exploration, spending months each year uncovering new cultures and destinations.

As a co-envoy for NomadMania, she represents inclusivity and inspires others to embrace the world’s endless possibilities. Read the interview here.

Recent Events in California

Recently, our Envoy for Western USA, Lucy Hsu, hosted two NomadMania meetings in California—one in her hometown of San Francisco and another in San Clemente, just south of Los Angeles.

The second meeting was initiated by our UN Master, Odette Ricasa, who graciously hosted everyone in her cozy home. Keep an eye out for more events happening around the world in our Calendar.

Conference #5 in Fergana, Uzbekistan

Our flagship event for 2025 is Conference #5, taking place in the Fergana Valley, Uzbekistan, from May 25–29 (*add-on until June 1). We anticipate around 100 participants, making it the largest NomadMania event in history!

We’ve put together an incredible program and reserved an entire hotel exclusively for us. With over 75 participants already registered, the remaining spots are filling up quickly!
