Council Recognition Dinner Registration

Looking ahead to the fall of 2023, our Council has gone all-in on a giant territory-wide camporee called MassJam. Mark it down on your calendars for Columbus Day Weekend October, 7-9 2023. It will be held on Cape Cod's Barnstable fairgrounds. For information, check out the website by clicking the button below. We will be joining Councils from across the territory to help staff, coordinate, and bring participants.

Led by the Council's Training Committee, Districts, and Camps, we have a robust and diverse training schedule planned for 2023. We have trainings for Scouters of all ages and programs on the docket. Training Calendar

National Youth Leader Training

Two courses one premier training. NYLT is a high-impact youth leader training that we are holding twice this summer. One at Camp Workcoeman and one at June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation.

Registering for NYLT is on a “waitlist” approach to avoid participants registering and paying without Scoutmaster recommendation. Here’s how waitlist registration works:

Click on the green “Waitlist” box to the right, then “Register Waitlist” from the next screen
Enter the information for the participant(s) you’re signing up for the course
Within a week, we’ll reach out to the participant’s Scoutmaster or unit leader to confirm their recommendation
You’ll receive an e-mail notice to go back in and complete registration and payment

Registration is complete when participants are fully paid and have submitted Code of Conduct and complete Health Form.

East & West of River Camporees Save the Date May 12-14

East of the River Camporee hosted by the Leaders of the Revolution and the Southeastern District at JNW Scout Reservation.

West of the River Camporee hosted by Western and Charter Oak District at Camp Workcoeman

Scout Programs including Aviation Merit Badge Workshops presented in partnership with Connecticut Rivers Council as well as Scout Overnights open to scouts of all ages and their families. Spaces have filled up fast and only a few slots remain in the winter and spring. Click the button below for more information.

Blue & Gold Placemats

Attention Pack leaders. Free of charge you can order placemats from us for your next Blue & Gold or another event. The placemats are our Cub camping advertisement but also include a racing word search and tic tac toe. The placemat includes dates, pricing, key camp notes, and a QR code to our site.
