The Ultimate Guide to Dohful Cookies

Good Evening my peeps,

It's Sunday again! I don't know about you guys, but I get very excited every time Sunday rolls around. I sit comfortably with my morning coffee and laptop in my lap, tapping away all my thoughts to you guys.

The daily chores are all outsourced to Chaman that day and I take my own sweet time to pen down my words every single time!

And yet, you may ask, why didn't I write to you last week. I'm sorry guys, but we were traveling that day, coming back from our hometown where we went for Chhatt Puja. I don't know why I thought I'd be able to manage both the Sunday Letter & the travel, but obviously, I couldn't pull it off!

Anyhoo...Welcome to Dohful's The Sunday Letter guys, it's good to be back!

Recently I was talking to someone about a corporate Christmas order, when out of the blue in the conversation they asked me which one was my favorite of all the Dohful cookies

My instant reaction was that the bestseller was the Choco Brownie & the Nutella Lava Cookie when they cut me off to ask the same question again.

Which one is your favorite cookie?

And though, at the moment I said that it was Choco Brownie cookie as it is super chocolaty and super sinful, as I thought about it more and more, I realized that it wasn't actually true.

I don't mean that Choco Brownie is not my favorite, I just mean that every single cookie has a different place in my life and my day and my moods. Honestly, I don't think that it is possible to replace the craving for one cookie with another!

How you may ask. Well, that's what I'm here to tell you.

As I said above, Choco Brownie Cookie is super chocolaty and sinful and more like a dessert cookie than anything else. I have personally served the Choco Brownie Cookies in a brownie sundae style with some Vanilla Icecream (or the Chocolate one if your heart so desires) and chocolate sauce drizzle.

Trust me, the easiest and fastest dessert ever, perfect for all house parties!

But more often than not, I have the Brownie cookies on leisure evenings along with my daily cuppa joe dipping it oh-so-slightly in the hot coffee as I go about relishing them both.

Choco Chunk Cookie...which basically started this amazing journey for us, is the most classic OG cookie. In fact, it's the cookie that comes to mind when you think of the word cookie.

It is enjoyed best with a glass of cold milk or a chilled Iced Coffee but it's also the cookie that makes the perfect cookie sandwiches

Just put a small scoop of chocolate ice cream between two Choco Chunk cookies, and you'd know what love at first bite means!

If I had a penny for every time someone tells me, I didn't know Macadamia Nuts cookie would be so amazing, I'd be a millionaire by now. No kidding!

Everyone is surprised by how good this cookie is. But I'm not surprised by this at all. This yummy nut - the Macadamia Nut is hardly ever available in India so not many people know about it. Hell, even I didn't know about it before my sister told me about it and I went hunting for it.

I know I've said a lot of times that this cookie will surprise you, but wait till you hear this. Pair this cookie with a cup of Chai (Ginger Chai or Masala Chai or whichever Chai floats your boat) and you will thank me...big time.

The next is the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. Now, you must be wondering what kind of pairing I do for this one? Well, it's the ever fresh and ever juicy - fruits!

Yes, all kinds of fruits pair really well with the Oatmeal Raisin cookie. Just make a fruit salad and top it with a crushed oatmeal cookie. Yum will have a new meaning, take my word for it.

You can also try this cookie blended into a smoothie with bananas or strawberries or even apples. Or even top it along with nuts and seeds on your smoothie bowl. The options are infinite. Just add in whatever you have and go with the flow. You'll never be disappointed.

Another indulgent cookie that I like to blend into shakes is the Peanut Butter Cookie. Blend it up with some milk & bananas and you get a perfectly chocolaty, peanut butter banana shake which is both healthy and indulgent at the same time. This has in fact been Chaman's go-to breakfast when he's in a hurry in the mornings.

But since I don't like Bananas, my favorite way to have the Peanut Butter cookie is with a cup of steaming hot coffee during the Delhi winters just like today!

Coming to the last but not the least (obviously, duh!) cookie - the Nutella Lava Cookie! You know about this one guys.. filled with molten Nutella, these cookies are best had warmed up, on their own, maybe with a glass of cold milk if you want.

But to make things really ultimately delicious, you can try this Nutella Cookie Shake that we made with Oatmilk. Yumminess par excellence!

What's your favorite way of having Dohful Cookies? Do you pair them up with anything? Do you share them with anyone? Tell us, we wanna know!
