Guest Speaker – Andy Riley on " The Life and Times of the Tallship Soren Larsen"
In 1987, Andy Riley began his journey with a stroll along the waterfront. Inspired by tales of a ship heading to Australia, he sought adventure away from the oil industry that had taken him across continents. Trading luxury for a humble bunk room, this decision was destined to transform his life. Boarding the SOREN LARSEN, Andy Riley embarked on a remarkable voyage, spanning 45 countries across two circumnavigations. His journey allowed him to encounter royalty and celebrate the age of sail by acquainting people of all ages with the wonders of life at sea. It was a transformative and enriching experience for everyone involved.
