Emergency Funding from Western Union Foundation through IIE

Deadline to apply:
Friday, September 25th

CIE is pleased to share that the Institute of International Education (IIE) will be administering funding from the Western Union Foundation! The deadline to apply is Friday, September 25th. The grant is specifically designed for international students who face financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic and who demonstrate a high financial need to cover their educational, living or health-related expenses.

Students who are selected will receive $10,000 in funding, so applicants should provide detailed and compelling information regarding their situation when they apply.

CIE will review your responses and determine eligibility for a nomination. CIE may nominate no more than 5 students to be considered for support from IIE. Please understand that it is IIE, not CIE, who will evaluate nominations from colleges around the world to decide how to award grant funding.

To request a nomination from CIE for this emergency relief funding, completed this online request form via the ISS Portal by no later than Friday, September 25th.
