Welcome to the new students and families who have started at Belmont Primary School this week.
Congratulations to the place-getters and all of the children who took part in our school speech finals last week. Standing in the Rose Centre and delivering a speech to a full auditorium of people can be daunting for anybody. So to see our children take on this challenge and deliver speeches with such confidence and charisma (or Rizz as James taught me) is amazing. Certificates for place-getters will be given out at tomorrow’s assembly. Arizona Wells and Mackenzie France represented the school at the Peninsula Speech Finals and did an amazing job. Congratulations to Mackenzie who place second.
The school production of Aladdin Jr. is just 3 weeks away. The Year 5 and 6 children and all of the staff involved have been working really hard to produce a high-quality performance. The school show, held every two years, is always a highlight for our children to watch and be a part of. Tickets for the wider school community will be available next week and will quickly sell out.
