I hope the new year is treating you well so far despite all the crazy cold weather everywhere.

I have some exciting news on the audiobook front. TRUTH ABOUT MEN & DOGS is now out in audio! Yay! The next two books in the series will be released by the end of February.

This is my first experience having any of my books turned into audio, so it was fun hearing my words narrated. In fact, it was trippy! Haha. Samantha Cook and Kyle Mason narrated, and I thought they did a terrific job. Both of them have great delivery. Even though I wrote it, it's quite different hearing it. This was all perfect timing since I've been rereading Truth About Men & Dogs in preparation for writing Truth About You & Me (Eliza and Gavin's story).

I also recently finished writing WILD KIND OF WONDERFUL. This is book 6 in the Sweet Life in Seattle series. (Summer and Seth's story.) It's currently being edited and then goes off to beta readers and proofreading. I'm planning a March release. I'll discuss that book more in my next newsletter.

Andrea's Addictions & Opinions

Every year I do a word of the year, which I promptly forget about two weeks later. This year I decided things were going to be different. I was going to pick a word of the year and stick with it. As you can see, my word of the year is "Focus." I like this word because I'm trying to be more intentional about scheduling my days. I want to focus on my goals this year. To help me remember, I decided to try something new, so I'm putting my word of the year in places I'll see it and remember. Going on my computer? Hello, there's a sticker telling me to Focus. Drinking a cup of tea? This mug says Focus. Glancing down at my wrist? Focus once again! We'll see if it works. My opinion so far is that it seems okay. We're past the two-week mark, and I still remember my word. (Although what the heck is it I'm focusing on? Haha.) Do you have a word of the year? I'd love to hear what it is and what you're doing to keep it front and center.
