One of the neighbors horses got out a few days ago, which made for an exciting afternoon for the dogs since it wandered close to our fence line. Joe kept an eye on the horse until our neighbors returned home and fixed their fence.
Joe is going out to spread manure, an unusual occurrence this time of year, but it's warm enough that it isn't frozen. (The fence was hot, so he didn't want to risk fixing it for them and getting zapped.)
I gave the goats some loose minerals yesterday and they seemed to enjoy the treat.
This morning, the goats were ganging up on Darci. I don't know what she did to get them all mad at her, but we had to protect her from the bullies while Sadie finished her breakfast. We trust that Sadie (our livestock guardian dog) will take care of keeping her safe now that she's out of her pen.
