All ladies are welcome to join the Women's Ministry Team TOMORROW, July 10 to help pack backpacks with all of the donations we have received. Meet in room 114 at 6pm.
We have an opportunity to assist Valley View Baptist Church as a pick up site for Backpack Connections. They need assistance setting up supplies on Monday, July 22 from 6pm until 7:30pm. Also on Tuesday, July 23 from 5:30pm until 7pm for the families to pick up the backpacks. Please sign up on the bulletin board if you are able to assist.
The Helping Hands Ministry was inspired by Doris Thompson and her vision to reach out to our shut-in and homebound members. This ministry delivers gifts to our shut-in members and some non-members once a month, on the 4th Thursday (except during the holidays). Even though a gift is delivered, the true gift is the visit and time spent with the member who is unable to attend church.
