Habitat After Dark Virtual Tour Wednesday 22nd April 5pm-6pm

Celebrate Earth Day on 22 April 2020  and join naturalists from The Habitat to explore the sights and sounds of the forest as it comes alive at night. Learn about the amazing diversity of our forest, and catch glimpses of secretive night creatures on camera.

THEATRE - The Corona Diaries, Nightly Until Tuesday 28th April 8.30pm

Local theatre penangpac has brings the world of theatre to your homes with nine original short plays created during the lockdown by local artists. One video per night will be shown on Facebook Live at penangpac’s Facebook page here and will remain on the page for you to watch later.

WORKSHOP Painting Vibrant Watercolours Ongoing

Esther Geh, a Penang-born Artist with a passion for botanical illustration, has recorded a video of the workshop she had planned to give during the Open Studios Penang Art Festival. Techniques covered include laying in washes, mingling colours, establishing lights and darks, then for the truly obsessive amongst you, refining details. The workshop lasts approximately 90 minutes and is free to watch. Click here.


The curator of BOXED IN will be sharing the concept and ideology of this group exhibition briefly, followed by sharing sessions and sneak peeks from the participating artists themselves - Tom Powell, Carey Junior, Hungry Goat, Jakob Zuyten and a few others.

A one hour hatha yoga class, gentle and soothing to help with stress & anxiety. No yoga experience required. Tune it to the Facebook livestream of Penang yoga studio TheSpace to join in. No payment is required but donations are gratefully accepted through PayPal account to pay the studio rent which is still being charged during the lockdown.

THEATRE Every Week

London’s National Theatre is streaming a recording of one of their full-length plays for free, every week. From Friday Penang time it will be Twelfth Night.
