ANGELA'S SUPER SIX
Every newsletter I share SIX great links to tools, resources, or unmissable articles to help you on the writer's journey. This time, let's look at 6 Tools to help you succeed this year.
ProWritingAid: We all need a bit of wordsmithing help to tighten and clean our manuscripts. PWA not only has a great product (with a free version), they also strive hard to help writers with their blog, webinars, and free ebooks. Check them out!
Fictionary Storyteller: The novel is written and now you have your biggest question ahead...does the structure hold up? Fictionary is a great tool to give you a view of what is (and isn't) working in your manuscript so you can fix it. Check them out...they have a Free Trial and a lovely bonus of master classes that will come right to your inbox!
Pacemaker Planner: Without accountability and focus, many of us struggle. A tool like Pacemaker will help you set achievable goals and benchmarks for your novel, keeping you on track. It also has a free plan.
One Stop for Writers: Wish Becca and Angela lived in your writing nook so you could pick their brains as you wrote? Well, the next best thing is One Stop for Writers. All of Angela & Becca's storytelling knowledge has been stuffed into this site in the form of a powerful descriptive database (15 thesauruses and counting), easy-to-use story structure tools, a hyper-intelligent Character Builder, Worksheets & Templates, helpful how-tos, tutorials, and more. Publisher Rocket: On the author path? Save yourself a ton of headaches and grab this tool. Rocket finds keywords using actual Amazon data, contains categories for books, and more, making things so much easier for you as you upload your book, design your book's description, and write ads. The keywords can help you on other platforms too because as we know, most people buy through Amazon. You can try it for free.
OneLook Reverse Dictionary: Whenever I am stuck on a word, I use this tool. Not only will it help you find something stronger and more specific when it matters most, it displays related words based on phrases or ideas. Free to use.
