Hello Makers!

In September I worked on completing two illustration series, and making a ton of texture brushes for my new class on creating a series in Procreate.  Creating a series is my go-to practice when I want to dive into a single style and build up a set of cohesive images, so I wanted to share the whole process with you all!

Below you'll find some beautiful series created by artists and designers around the world, plus a new invaluable resource for reference images.

Happy creating!

Free Library of Reference Books for Artists, Designers, and Illustrators

If you’re like me and you live in a tiny city with a library that basically just has romance novels and kids books, then this resource is a lifesaver. The site is an incredible bank of imagery for artists, designers, and anyone with a penchant for old books, so beware if you have important things to get done today!  Check out my favorite books and some tips for searching the site here.

Inspiring Artwork

This month I wanted to share some of the inspiring series made by artists and designers around the world who watched my class on creating an illustration series.  I'm only showing 4 of the images from each series, because I want to entice you to click on the image to see the rest of the beautiful illustrations on their Instagram accounts!

I also share a lot more work from iPad artists and designers around the world on my Instagram stories, so check it out if you want to get a daily dose of inspiration.

New Class!

In this class, you’ll learn how to plan and create an illustration series from start to finish.  Creating a series is the perfect way to develop a cohesive body of work that shows your unique style to the world in a professional format.

P.S. I'd love to hear what classes you would like to see in the future.  Have a class idea/request?  Send me a note! I’d love to hear from you.   Contact Me
