New mural for Lock - a portrait of Albert Ernest Lock, of who the town is named after. The story goes Albert Lock was killed in action during WW1, while on duty in Belgium in October 1917. Albert had been working for the Department of Land and Survey before he enlisted himself as a soldier. 5 months after Albert's death, the town of Lock was officially named by his former work friends in the department, in his honour. The mural was painted by James Pedler (Art by James P) and funded by the District Council of Elliston.
