Comedy & Carols, live-streamed from St John’s Stoke Church, Guildford

Guildford-based comedian Paul Kerensa will bring much-needed hahahas and hohohos not just to Guildford, but to anywhere with an internet connection and a Zoom account. The show was meant to be performed live at St John’s Stoke Church, and it still will be, only without a live audience. Instead this show of stand-up comedy, carolling and festive fun and games will be live-streamed. Thanks to a screen onstage, the comedians will be able to interact live with those watching. Paul is an ITV award-winning stand-up, and writer for hit shows Miranda, Not Going Out, Top Gear and TFI Friday, and he’ll be joined live onstage by South African comedian Mark Palmer. They and the camera crew will be in church, you’ll be at home… which means you can legally sing along! They are planning to introduce lipreading sessions online. Pilot sessions will be run between now and Christmas.
