Dear Family and Friends,
I am going on mission to Nairobi, Kenya again!
After living life on my own terms and going through various trials and tribulations, September 2013, I made the best decision of my life. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and got baptized. Although, I still experience trials and tribulations from time to time, the difference is that through them I have peace and confidence that I will get through them with the help of Christ.
Throughout my journey I have joined ministry, became an intercessor, and I lead a small group Bible study weekly at my home. God is continuously stretching me to fulfill the purpose He has for my life and one of those purposes is The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Fall of 2017 God placed it on my heart to go on a mission trip. Shortly after I received some information from my church about upcoming missions, however I couldn’t afford to go. I prayed about it and God told me that He would send people to donate, I just had to ask. This took courage because I’m not used to asking for help. I put my pride aside, began asking for donations, and I was able to raise all the funds to go to Kenya on mission Fall 2018.
My small act of obedience led me to be a blessing to many children and families in Kenya as well as an unforgettable life changing experience. During my time in Kenya, I was able to teach Bible study to a classroom of 75 children, lead morning devotional, participate in prayer walks, street evangelism, and share Christ with others, which led to many individuals accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
I am excited that God has called me to go on mission again in Kenya to serve Kawangware’s poverty-stricken residents and I pray that you are able to help.
The total cost of the mission trip is $3,500, which covers airfare, transportation, accommodations, and food. I have to raise $1,750 by July 15, 2019 and $1,750 by August 15, 2019. I am 100% responsible for raising the funds and I would like to ask for your financial support.
If you are able to donate, any amount would be greatly appreciated. As a token of my appreciation for you sowing a seed into my life to fulfill The Great Commission, I would like to sow a seed of prayer into your life. I will be personally praying for you until I depart for Kenya.
