This year marks the start of a new three-year term for our Experts’ Forum. Each country has nominated a member to provide advice and knowledge to EIGE. At the first meeting, discussions revolved around the Beijing Platform for Action and the Gender Equality Index 2019. EIGE’s research shows how digital technologies are helping young women and men access learning, make new friends and become active for social change. Yet, one of the downsides is the risk of online abuse, which is becoming something normal and expected for many young people. Read the report here
