My reading friends,

I’ll make this short and sweet and give you three things, because I know everyone is busy! (I’m behind on everything because I missed Thanksgiving week with a horrible cold.)

1. The Mango Murders cruise on the Argo Navis was a blast! I gave a short talk, signed books, and then we all enjoyed a lovely sail with drinks and snacks.

2. I turned in my short story for Key West Noir, coming next year. This was hard—I’m used to having a whole book to show suspects and figure out a plot. A short story requires a perfect nugget of an idea. (Big sigh.) I hope I found one. I’ll be included with luminaries such as SA Cosby (who can really write noir) so I wanted it to be the best it could be. I’ll be posting a snippet of this story on January 1—I’ll send you the link. The story was set at trivia night at the Key West Cooking School… so much fun!

3. For something yummy to eat, try these orange date scones.
