New Communication intern at SCCL office

We are happy to announce that SCCL office will have an intern during the period September-December 2020. Austėja Kuktaitė is a 4th-year student of Scandinavian studies (Swedish) at Vilnius University. She has previous experience of working at the Swedish companies operating in Lithuania and her main interest areas include writing, creativity, languages and communication. Austėja will be primarily working with the Chamber’s communication channels and participate in the Chamber’s outward activities.

New Member presentations will take place in the conference room at Hotel PACAI with safe seating configurations. The official part will be followed by networking mingle in the courtyard of the hotel.

World Trade Day: Business Climate Survey Launch

The Stockholm Chamber of Commerce invites to this year's World Trade Day, focusing on the launch of the newly revised Global Business Climate Survey, a Team Sweden project, built upon a unique partnership between Business Sweden, Swedish Chambers International “SCI” and Swedish Embassies. The survey provides an overview of the opportunities and challenges Swedish companies face when doing business abroad covering a wide array of different global markets. Moreover, the participants of the digital seminar will gain valuable insights surrounding the effects the COVID-19 pandemic has had on Swedish businesses abroad.

Ideas for a stronger Sweden

The Commission to Restart Sweden, an initiative by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, has recently presented its report on how to create a strong foundation for Sweden after the Covid-19 pandemic. The Commission, consisting of the country's leading experts in their respective fields and led by the economist Klas Eklund, proposes long-term reforms for economic strength, sustainability and social inclusion. Among others, the Commission also emphasizes the need to reverse the government measures so that they support a rapid return to work and promote transformation, new jobs and new investments.
