We will be conducting two webinars to show how to update your BeAScout pin, and use the my.scouting Application Manager tool. Both webinars will have the same content, so you need only register for one.  Please click below to sign up (advance registration is required).

Time to Schedule Your Joining Event!

In order to take full advantage of the Geofencing project, we need your joining event details ASAP. We know it takes time to coordinate locations, but please take some time to schedule a virtual joining event for your unit as well as in-person. Let's appeal to everyone we can!

Geofencing - Paid Facebook Advertising

Through a partnership with the National office of the BSA, your units joining event(s) will receive free, paid advertising on Facebook. We will start collecting info in the coming weeks to get that set up.  NEW FOR 2020 - the amount spent for each ad is doubling this year. We'll be able to reach even further!

BeAScout Pins

You should have received an email from Kevin McClelland recently with information about your unit's BeAScout pin. Thank you to those who have already updated. Please make sure that all your info is up to date by July 15.  Just reply to this email if you have any questions or issues.

Why Virtual Joining Events Matter....

With all of the uncertainty surrounding school access/availability, nervousness about group sizes, etc. we are encouraging every unit to conduct a virtual joining event this year in addition to any in-person opportunities.  These will be advertised on Facebook, and we can help develop digital flyers. We will conduct trainings in August to help with ideas on how to conduct your event.

Online Application for New Members

On August 4th, our Council will begin accepting online applications for new youth and adult members.  We're going to be sharing lots of info about this in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, please click here for info. There are videos, guidebooks and more!
