We need projects that meet our needs.

This project, Furore, is a biggie.  I haven't weighed the sample yet, but it is large. This is not the kind of thing you can knit from beginning to end without a stop or two.  When I knit my personal version of it, I did it in three sections, taking two breaks to work on other things. 

Jamie and I were discussing the need to have projects that used different parts of our brain for different moods or levels of energy. This was so repetitive that it was nearly mindless to knit it. The pattern will have 9 sizes for fingering weight yarn, or you can make it using the Pattern Calculator and your own measurements and gauge.

Keeping it Sweet for Knitters.  I am working on a class about my patterns.  As a knitter you can use these lessons to orient yourself to my new pattern format and learn, even if you don't actually purchase a pattern.  Sweet!.  Hopefully it will launch by the end of the month.
