The FEST Networking dinners will host 150 film professional per day and the first names confirmed for FEST 2023 are:
BRENDA CHAPMAN - First woman to direct an animated feature from a major studio ("The Prince of Egypt") & co-director of Pixar's "Brave" - Oscar for Best Animated Feature;
CAPRICE CRAWFORD - CEO of Crawford Talents, a full-service International Actors Management Agency, an international actors management agency based in Berlin;
LONE SCHERFIG - Danish writer/director with award-winning films including "Italian for Beginners," "An Education," and "Their Finest." Also directed TV series;
LUCY BROWN - Award-winning producer, director, writer & educator, co-authored "The TV Studio Production Handbook". Strong supporter of equality, diversity, and inclusion;
MELODY LONDON - Renowned film editor on "Stranger Than Paradise" & "Risk," respected film teacher, and director of the documentary on under-recognized women artists;
PETE TRAVIS - BAFTA winner for "Omagh". His film "Endgame" with William Hurt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jonny Lee Miller & Mark Strong premiered at Sundance;
TOMAS ESKILSSON - Head of FIlm Analysis of Film i Väst, has co-produced over 775 feature films, including notable works by Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, and Niels Arden Oplev.
In previous years, names like Asghar Farhadi, Béla Tarr, Gaspar Noé. Irvine Welsh, Melissa Leo, Roman Coppola, Joe Walker, Ed Lachman, Gael Garcia Bernal - among other influential experts - have shared their experiences at FEST with other film professionals.
