Hi Friend!

OK, I've been thinking about doing this for way too long.

I have these words stenciled in my garage, trying to, with subtle 'in the background' messaging in my videos, to get you to stop thinking about it and just start that project or your new updated life goal.

I could be described as an over-sharer, or just someone who loves to share cool stuff I have found or use and want people to know about it. 

So I am at my desk in the living room in BKLN, its almost dinner time for Andy & Spike, (they are reminding me of that) and I've just started this first weekly Cool Stuff email.

Not sure the name will stay, but that's what popped into my head, and it describes what it is I'm sharing. 

Whenever I have found something online or in the real world that is neat and I want to share it with you, I've pasted it into an ongoing list in Apple Notes. The whole time thinking, OK, I'm going to start a second weekly email to share all these cool things I've found. The list is huge now, and kinda a mess as I go through it right now.

Lots of links to videos because I watch YouTube more than TV, links to online newsletters and posts I like, and some stuff I have bought and find to be useful and good, and think you may find useful as well.

There will be affiliate links to some stuff, as it does help pay the bills at the GF HQ. But I will only suggest stuff to you that I think is worth considering. An example being the cool instant B/W camera that made the photos of me and the Labs above.

Going forward, you will usually recieve 2 emails a week from me:

• One with Cool Stuff + Labrador Picts.

Project Kamp Buy some land in Portugal with like-minded friends and try to build a sustainable community. And make videos about all of it. Rebuild old stone buildings using lime mortar mixes, going all in composting toilets, make lots of mistakes along the way. And sharing all what they've learned in a very cool open source website . I support these guys on Patreon. Here is the entire playlist, start watching from episode #1 by scrolling all they way down the playlist to the first video.

Now I want to buy and rebuild a tank. I was hooked from the first video of Mr Hewes and friends restoring tanks that have been sitting in the countryside of England. Who doesn't want to pull a V-12 Two-cycle multi-fuel engine out of the back of a tank?

Note: The older vids on this channel, those older than a year, are not kid-friendly, the swear words are not bleeped out and some clothing they wear refers to an 18+ website. ;)

I'd like to do this, and probably can. But Tom actually does it.

What I like about the Strangers On A Bench podcast is its normalcy with moments of 'oh wow' of regular people like you and I.

It is not a podcast interviewing celebrities, its not yet another pair of 'guys who think they are funny' doing a podcast, its a guy asking people in a park if he can interview them for his podcast. Which I love.

There is one episode, Ep 7 The Disappearing Cyclist, where the guest is talking about traveling the world, and shares an adult encounter he had while in Thailand.
