Study: Humans responsible for over 90% of world’s oil slicks

Ian MacDonald, a professor in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Science, was part of a team that discovered that more than 90% of chronic oil slicks come from human sources, a much higher proportion than previously estimated. The research was published in Science. Read more ...
