Not quite in the swim – yet!
The mild, sunny days of the end of September already seem like a distant memory now we are into the depths of winter, huddling around open fires, sipping hot chocolates and generally nesting, waiting for the longer days to come when we can get back in the Pools!
On that note, as you may know, the Pools are not currently open for cold water swimming while the Trust transfers management to the operator Fusion Lifestyle, the legalities of which are taking some time. We appreciate there is a lot of interest and enthusiasm for the Pools we are grateful for your ongoing support and patience. We hope to be able to release more details in January.
There is still plenty going on however. The Trust is pressing ahead with the next round of fundraising for the pontoon which will house the ground source heat pump to allow for warm water swimming and offer river access - phase two works will begin next year.
Come and say a Christmas hello
