Note #2 - You're, like, 60% water
"Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%."
Why does this matter?
Your weight. The first 3 or 4 weeks of a weight loss program....you're just losing water.
Ate like an asshole for a week and the scale is up 6lbs? It isn't fat. It is water.
Just something to think about if you're freaking out about the scale. AND why regularly weighing yourself can actually help defeat the fear of the scale.
