Happy Friday Friends!

"Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

I am still wading about in my zone of introversion...But, this week has been full of tapping into some musical joy with all of the Stevie Wonder birthday celebration festivities (if you don't already know, he's my FAVORITE singer of all time), doing some art sketches, and starting a new professional development program where I'm digging deeper into my "WHY." (Sidebar: Don't be surprised when I have to reach out to some of you on some reflectional questions about me as I go through this process). Anyway, those are the main things for me this week...

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Continued prayers that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy out there 💗.

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Yugen (noun): an awareness of the universe that triggers emotional responses too deep and mysterious for words

  • ADVICE: “It will happen when it's meant to happen. It will happen the way it has to happen. Don't force. Let things grow and evolve naturally. Flow and be the best version of you that you can be."

  • MOOD MUSIC: Going to go ahead and keep the Stevie Wonder vibes going, and share this Stevie Megamix of deep cuts that Questlove did in celebration of the legend's birthday.

  • QUARANTINE RECOMMENDATION: Has all the quarantine time made you start thinking about growing your own vegetables and herbs? If so, this collection of the "Best Indoor Garden Kits, according to Chefs and Gardeners" may be super helpful to you!

  • COOKERY MAGIC: If your air fryer has been getting a lot of use like mine, you may be ready to try some new experiments. Here's a great compilation of 45 new recipes to add to the mix!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: Raise your hand if you are in need of a digital detox! The Forest App is a great tool to help you step away from the digital matrix.

When you want to focus, you plant a “tree,” and the more time you spend away from your phone/tablet, the more it grows into a beautiful forest. If you "leave the app," your forest dies. Best of all, you can earn virtual coins by staying focused on your tasks and use these to grow real-life trees!

  • FEEL GOOD SHARE: This story of  Paige Okray creating a "Hug Curtain" to see and visit her grandparents was just truly touching to the spirit.

In case you need a reminder.

This week's challenge is to celebrate a small win in your life.

My sincerest apologies for delaying the announcement of the next date for this!

However, if you know me personally, you also know I can't (and won't) do things "half-a$$". And, if my mood & energy aren't in the right place, that is exactly what this will be 😔. So, stay tuned for a future announcement of the future date- I promise it will be soon!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
