Holy Week Services (April 14 - 21)

Please plan to be with us for our Holy Week services this year.

  • Palm Sunday Service at 10:00 a.m.
  • Maundy Thursday Service at 7:00 p.m.
  • Good Friday Draping of the Cross at 7:30 a.m.
  • Easter Sunday Breakfast at 8:30 a.m.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at 9:15 a.m.
  • Easter Sunday Service at 10:00 a.m.

Easter Sunday Special Events

We will begin our Easter Sunday morning activities with a potluck breakfast at 8:30 a.m. followed by our annual Easter Egg Hunt.  We will then move to our beautiful, historic sanctuary for our celebration of Easter through worship.  Come and join us as we seek to embrace the Risen Christ once again as the center of our lives and the foundation for our missional work as God's church.

Saturday Preparation for Easter

We will gather at the church this Saturday before Easter at 10:00 a.m. to prepare our sanctuary and our facilities for our Easter morning activities and worship.  Please come lend a hand as we work to make our Easter Sunday as wonderful as it can be.

Vicar Dawn's Blog Post of the Week

Hello Memorial Family!

I pray you are blessed this week with good health and a churned-up Spirit. I look forward to being in worship with you this week and until then, I pray you enjoy this Food for Thought

Toward Shalom,

Vicar Dawn

Lenten Wednesday Services and Supper

Thanks to all who helped lead in our mid-week services during this Lenten Season and especially to those who prepared food for the meals.  While these services are now behind us, they were an important part of our spiritual journey during this important time of the church year and your leadership and participation was greatly appreciated.

Organ Donation from Peace Lutheran

As many of you know our current organ has been broken for several months and repairing it is cost prohibitive.  We have been offered an organ by Peace Lutheran Church (see the picture) and we have finished installing the instrument.  This will be a significant upgrade from our current instrument which served us well for many years.  Please be patient as we get all the cables, speakers and wires properly in place.  Thanks to Pastor Ann Bassett and Peace Lutheran in Spring Hill for this gracious gift.

Children's Choir

Rehearsals are at 1:30 p.m. on each Sunday afternoon except the Sundays when they lead in worship.  If you have interested children or know of any in the neighborhood, please encourage them to come and join in the fun!  Please contact Lauren for the official rehearsal schedule each month as the calendar is subject to change.
