The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) have reported that a Liberian-flagged Bulk Carrier was attacked 97NM northwest of Hodeidah, Yemen.

Initial information indicates that the vessel, reportedly bound for Suez, was struck by a missile. Reports also suggest that the Bulk Carrier is not under command and has started to take on water. Further updates will be provided as confirmed information becomes available. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
