International and regional conferences
PCF regional projects have had visibility through various international and regional conferences, some which have focused on women's political presence, the priority of non-discrimination, enhancing the right to data protection, and supporting democratic school cultures in EaP countries.

Protection and promotion of human rights
Numerous activities have taken place under this theme, particularly under promoting equality and human dignity, promoting human rights education and democratic citizenship, and strengthening the implementation of European human rights standards.

Overview of PCF projects with EaP Parliaments
This new film shows Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly’s activities under the PCF, such as peer to peer seminars for Members of Parliaments and workshops.
Ensuring justice
Various activities these past few months have sought to improve healthcare services in prisons through training of prison staff and enhancing mental health screening tools. Lawyers have been supported through training and conferences in order to strengthen constitutional justice and the efficiency of justice.

Combating threats to the rule of law
Expert discussions, conferences, and events took place in order to exchange  best practices in the fight against corruption and foster good governance, as well action on cybercrime.

Public officials introduced to concepts of corruption risk assessments and public sector anti-corruption programs
Addressing challenges of the information society
Training seminars and meetings were held to support projects on enhancing the right to data protection and internet governance. Topics included raising awareness on European standards on access to information among the press and media officers, and analysing the results of media monitoring in reference to elections.

Promoting democratic governance
PCF activities to strengthen the capacities of civil society organisations to observe domestic elections in Eastern Partnership countries  are showing results, notably during their observation of the Presidential elections in Moldova and the Parliamentary elections in Georgia in October 2016. The Venice Commission also organised trainings on electoral dispute resolution with the Central Electoral Commissions of Moldova and Georgia in advance of these elections.
