👋
Hello Mori people,
I hope the holidays are treating you well. July has been a good one, the sun is back, the shelves are fully stocked and our processor is developing record amounts of film!
These holidays are also the first time we are able to plan some time off since opening in December. Working at a film lab is a lot of fun but it can also be very intense. This is why, as you might have noticed, we decided to implement a holiday schedule with a slightly longer processing time to allow us to alternate our holidays while keeping the lab open. I am actually typing this newsletter under the Tuscan sun. What a life. 😎
So anyway, what’s happening in this coming month? With the lab growing so fast we have decided to look for some extra help. This is why we decided to offer two new student positions to help out with our scanning section.
We are also closing for one week from the 24th to the 28th of August. We will use this time to perform some maintenance on the machines, improve our system and continue construction in the darkroom. We’re still hoping for the darkroom to be operational sometime in September.
While we’re closed you will of course still be able to use our dropboxes that will be emptied regularly. This way you will be the first in line to get your film processed when we reopen.
Until then the lab and shop stays open. You’ll still be able to come and check out the Darkroom exhibition that decorates our walls until the 10th of September.
Take care,
Raph & Cole
