Dear ,
Lately, I’ve been feeling the pull to create more - more YouTube videos, more Insight Timer meditations, more content.
But every time I sat down to plan, I felt resistance. Instead of pushing through, I decided to trust the pause.
Even writing this email, I encountered resistance and felt uninspired. Instead of forcing words onto the page, I took a short pause - a 12-minute sit - to tune in and sense what was happening internally.
Just that brief check-in helped me process what was present for me, and in doing so, I realized that this was exactly what I needed to share with you.
It’s uncomfortable not ‘producing’ when so much of our world tells us we must always be growing, achieving, or hitting the next milestone.
But I’m learning that gestation - quietly holding space for what’s to come - is just as necessary as action.
I’ve been paying attention to how nature doesn’t force its growth - it trusts the rhythm of the seasons.
What if we did the same?
What if we honored the lull, knowing that deep down, things are quietly preparing for their next phase?
A Mindful Reframe: What If Stillness Is a Form of Growth?
What if ‘not doing’ is actually a crucial part of becoming?
- Can we redefine productivity to include stillness, reflection, and inner work?
- Can we trust that just because results aren’t visible doesn’t mean they’re not happening?
- How can we make peace with not knowing what’s next, but staying open to what’s unfolding?
