Save the date for the release of the PIRLS 2021 International Report and Results. The online release will take place on Tuesday, 16 May 2023 at 10:00 Central European Summer Time. A detailed agenda and event speaker information will be shared in due course.
Results from the second cycle of KWiK (Continuity and Change in Schools in Times of Crisis) reveal significant improvements in the digitization of schools in Germany. All results are summarized in an online brochure (DE only).
The 63rd IEA General Assembly Meeting took place in Split, Croatia, for three days of collaborative, in-person sessions. Thank you to the National Centre for External Evaluation of Education for hosting the meeting.

As a valued member of the IEA network, Dr. Ina V.S. Mullis was elected as an Honorary Member of IEA at the 63rd General Assembly Meeting in recognition of her outstanding contribution to IEA.

The recently released PIRLS 2021 Encyclopedia presents a profile across PIRLS 2021 participating countries and benchmark systems, and shares selected findings across dedicated country chapters.
In light of the increasing urgency of global environmental issues, TIMSS 2023 will feature context questionnaire items that aim to assess students' environmental attitudes and behaviors. These updates are described in the released supplement to the TIMSS 2023 framework.
