Family-Care Leave - Update 2

Dear HR Practitioners,

For those who are granting family care leave above statutory requirement, how many days are your company giving?

2 days, no need for any supporting documents to be submitted.

We grant 2 days of family care leave to all our employees who are not eligible for childcare and extended childcare leave.

We are giving 2 days FCL.

I have determined the policy such that it coincides with child care and extended child care....6 days.

If employee has a child below 7, then take child care.

If employee has a child 7-12, then 2 days child care+ 4 days family care.

If employee has children above 7 and aged parents , then family care is 6 days.

One employee can only take one category of the above.
