Mary took a pound of costly perfume made of pure nard, anointed Jesus’ feet, and wiped them with her hair. | John 12:3

A message from the Diocesan Renewal Leadership Team (DRLT)
Warm greetings during this sacred Holy Week!
Despite the busy time of preparation for Holy Week and Easter in parishes, Parish Renewal Teams have begun meeting for in-depth reflection on the Diocesan Pastoral Renewal, which encompasses three areas of pastoral priority and nine focused actions.
Many PRTs are also in the process of organizing Parish Renewal Gathering(s) in the month of April to engage, inform, and orient the parish community about the Diocesan Pastoral Renewal. Check your parish bulletin and communications for the date of your Parish Renewal Gathering!
The renewal of our faith community begins with each member. All of us have been called to the vocation of holiness, to become instruments of God's boundless love and abundant mercy in the world. It is not an insignificant call; it is a profound affirmation that we truly matter. Each one of us, in our uniqueness, contributes to the beauty and unfolding of God's gift of salvation through Christ in the world.
The Pastoral Renewal will allow us to see that we belong to the Body of Christ, a community of missionary disciples united in one mission and committed together to walking with and inviting others to know the love of our Risen Lord.

This week, we bring to you an inspiring account from Roy Ifill, a parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish in Calgary. He shares his journey of faith renewal. Read his story.

PASTORAL RENEWAL |
+ |
|
|
|
You are called. You matter. You belong.
These simple yet profound words capture the essence of our Pastoral Renewal. Jesus personally calls each one of us to follow Him and to remain by His side, for He deeply loves us.
And it is not merely a call; it is a profound affirmation that we truly matter. Every aspect of our lives - our dreams, our struggles, our joys - carries immense significance, for we are integral parts of God’s divine plan. Each one of us, in our uniqueness, contributes to the beauty and unfolding of God’s gift of salvation in the world.
In this pilgrim journey of faith, let us be reminded that we belong to the Body of Christ, a community of disciples united in the one mission, and bound together by the love of our Lord.
We invite you to join our diocesan Church and begin a journey of renewal together!

POPE'S PRAYER INTENTION |
+ |
|
Each year, the Holy Father asks for our prayers for a specific intention each month. You are invited to answer the Holy Father's request and to join with many people worldwide in praying for this intention each month. From time to time, the Holy Father may add a second prayer intention related to current events or urgent needs, like disaster relief. The second prayer request will help mobilize prayer and action related to the urgent situation.
