Hey Willow Holloway

I'm so pleased you've signed up to find out more about Squarepeg. I'm looking forward to welcoming you into the community.

The idea for Squarepeg has evolved gradually in the years following my own autism diagnosis.

I was diagnosed after suffering a major autistic burnout - I completely shut down and was unable to do my job as a high school teacher. I was forced to finally face my fears, leave my well paid and secure career and become self employed.

And following counselling I made another decision, too - to pursue an autism diagnosis and begin a journey of self examination.

I got my diagnosis, but soon discovered how little support there is for autistic adults - especially those who appear to be so-called  'high-functioning' and who are diagnosed later in life.

These experiences have made me determined to build something for autistic adults like me - somewhere that offers:

  • peer support (for autistics, by autistics)
  • help with understanding yourself, your behaviours and your relationships
  • information about navigating employment - or becoming self employed

The aim is to help autistic people like us to create a good life in a way that supports our autism, rather than fighting it.

So, watch this space!

I'll be in touch soon.

I'd love to know a bit more about you...

Can you help me make sure that SquarePeg offers exactly what you need?

This quick survey will take 2 minutes of your time (and it's completely anonymous)

Yes, I have 2 minutes!
