JMPD
Please continue to check Barry Hertzog for informal camps. Please get social services to assist those willing to move into shelters. I'm getting lots of complaints about illegal "burning".

Melville Main Road - Bus stop opposite SPAR, 2nd and 3rd Ave complaints about homeless and drug dealers - please monitor regularly.

CITY POWER
What progress is being made with the installation of the new Melville Sub Station?

Progress with regards to the demolition of the old substations below the Mandela Mining District Melville / Carlow Bridge Area


JHB WATER
Please can the new Brixton reservoir/tower be kept on matters arising so we get regular updates that we can share with the residents?


JOBURG ROADS AGENCY
Barry Hertzog flyover - still waiting for vegetation to be removed from the road / hard surface area. This is very dangerous now as it's reducing the road area. Barriers here have also not been replaced.

Empire / Perth - grass growing in the pavement / middle islands needs attention. Traffic light reinstatements not done.

Progress report on the Rand Steam emergency stormwater project. Has anyone been appointed to the Wayleave department to do quality control inspections before closing off?


PIKITUP
I still don't have an answer about which co-op will be working in Ward 87. How do we liaise with the depot on specific issues we would like attended to by the co-ops? Please can we get a current report on what weekly / monthly street cleaning is taking place in my ward by Waterval / Norwood? It will help if it's by day of the week.


CITY PARKS
Thanks to Alton and his team for the cleanup & grass cutting along Barry Hertzog flyover and around Dale Lace / Melville sports facilities. Please can they also remove all the alien shrubs/trees in these areas.

What has been done about the illegal construction at the Soccer Club in Melville? What is being done about the illegal occupation of the Tennis Club and Scout Hall?

What is being done about the illegal water and electricity connections to all 3 facilities? When are these properties going to tender?


AUGMENTED SERVICES
Please can I get an update on issues logged (12 months) for Ward 87 - including an update on what has been resolved and what is outstanding?

Please can the unit arrange regular checks for illegal connections at Landau and Collins Street. There are many more illegal connections in Brixton, Auckland Park and surrounds. Please can the Ward Urban inspectors monitor this?
