Welcome to the Scouting family.  We're glad you and your child have decided to join us for family fun and adventure! You probably have some questions ... here are answers to the five that are most frequently asked by new families.

Scouting’s flagship event is one-of-a-kind. It’s a gathering of approximately 30,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff that showcases everything that is great about the BSA and its members. Held every four years, the Jamboree is an amazing opportunity for participants, volunteers, and visitors to experience the best of Scouting, all in one place.

The Michigan Crossroads Council is offering three ways for youth to join the 2021 National Scout Jamboree.  Each youth selects a package that meets the youth’s needs.  In addition, youth choosing the Jamboree and Adventure package or the Jamboree, Adventure, and Tour package will help in selecting the high adventure experience and tour activities.

The Michigan Scout Shops are providing an opportunity for the Scouting community to help local Scout members who may be in need of uniforms and uniform items.  This help will be done through The Holiday Giving Tree program starting November 17 through December 20, 2019. The Holiday Giving Tree program works on a donation basis. A Holiday Giving tree (similar to an Angel tree) will be set up at Scout Shops throughout Michigan with Holiday Giving cards on it.
