Holy Week Services

Thanks to all who helped make our Season of Lent and our Holy Week a very special time of spiritual growth and maturation for all of us.  A special thanks goes to Susan Turnbach who accompanied our mid-week services and to all those who provided soup for our mid-week meals.

How Do We Elect our Bishops

During this coming Synod Assembly we will be electing a new Bishop.  ELCA Lutherans use a process called an ecclesiastical ballot in order to be to open to the leadership of the Holy Spirit throughout the election process.  What is that you say?  If you want to learn more, I will be answering that and many more questions at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 5 in the Adult Sunday School room.  Come and join us!

Organ Donation from Peace Lutheran

As many of you know our current organ has been broken for several months and repairing it is cost prohibitive.  We have been offered an organ by Peace Lutheran Church (see the picture) and we have finished installing the instrument.  This will be a significant upgrade from our current instrument which served us well for many years.  Please be patient as we get all the cables, speakers and wires properly in place.  Thanks to Pastor Ann Bassett and Peace Lutheran in Spring Hill for this gracious gift.

Children's Choir

Rehearsals are at 1:30 p.m. on each Sunday afternoon except the Sundays when they lead in worship.  If you have interested children or know of any in the neighborhood, please encourage them to come and join in the fun!  Please contact Lauren for the official rehearsal schedule each month as the calendar is subject to change.
