Monty (Illawarra fiddler) reacted to last week's Gaelic Club 1989 video (which included singer Tim Connor):
"Well what a surprise.Never thought I would see the day. I used to work with Tim Connor up in Brisbane. He got me on the telly on 5 occasions. He was banned for life from driving & if I was free, I would drive him to gigs & do the last 10 minutes of it accompanying him on fiddle."

Singing retreat - Wallaroo
Tuscany in the Yass Valley, NSW
5 days of singing and walking amongst the vineyards of the beautiful Yass Valley with Rachel Hore, Jo Cresswell and Dave O'Neill.
This week promises to be a beautiful relaxing time in this picturesque and unknown region of NSW with a variety of award winning vineyards. Our days will be spread between singing classes in wineries and local churches, walks of 1–2 hours, a visit to a nearby historic town and delicious home cooked meals back at our Homestead every night.
This tour is a small group (max 16 singers) so please get in quick for this one.
As we have mainly queen bedrooms available this trip is mostly for couples or cosy friends. We can only offer a couple of singles and one twin. Choose from a range of accommodation options that includes a lovely Georgian style homestead, fabulous Art Deco train carriages, or winery accomodation.
More Info on Rachel's website or email Jo Cresswell.

The Rhythm Singlet - 8pm. ahhhhhhhh, I have been thinking about this. it's groove equivalent to singlet theory. what's going on? with groove, with time, with signatures, with cross rhythms, with everything? what do all the numbers mean? how do you get better at rhythm? we will explore this, in real time, luxuriously, and purely with feet, hands, and voices. oh, I have been thinking about this. all things are, as usual, at website. - Stephen Taberner.
