Hello Friends-

"Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and musings.

This past week has been mostly filled with implementing new chess strategies I have been gleaning from my daily chess class, doing some art, and learning lots of other random things in various virtual events I have attended. I have additionally been in one of my deep reflection zones-pondering (and trying to figure out) all the things...

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Continued prayers that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy

(mentally & physically) out there 💗.

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Nebulous (adj): in the form of a cloud or haze; hazy

  • ADVICE: “The summit of happiness is reached when a person is ready to be what he is." - Desiderius Erasmus

  • MOOD MUSIC: This time last year I was adventuring around in Cuba. As I was traveling down memory lane with some of the pictures and videos I took on my trip, I decided to go down the musical rabbit hole of Cuban music. I came across this beautiful song from Omara Portuondo and was instantly taken back to the magic of Havana. I definitely hope to be able to go back and experience more one day...

  • QUARANTINE RECOMMENDATION: The "hopeful romantic" in me has been immersing myself in a lot of rom-coms and the such lately. One of my recent binge-worthy discoveries has been "Indian Matchmaking" on Netflix. I have found it to be so fascinating!

  • THE MORE YOU KNOW: I've heard a lot of people talk about chia seeds over the years, and have always been a bit curious as to what they were. I decided to research them this week after hearing a friend of mine rave about them helping her. And, lo and behold, I discovered that there are actually a TON of health benefits to these little seeds! Sharing a good article I found on some of their biggest benefits here.

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: Sharing a funny one I found this week...Next time you see a telemarketer call coming in on your phone, answer with, "Hello, you're on the air!" They'll be sure to hang up quickly!

  • FEEL GOOD SHARE: I may or may not have a slight obsession with watching little kids candy challenge/fruit snack videos...anyway, this one with Maylee just made my heart smile.

A good exercise for the now, as shared by @soolooka.

This week's challenge is to create an actionable list of things that you can do to effect some positive change and energy in your life.

I have some new and exciting community virtualizations that I will be hosting in the upcoming weeks! Be on the lookout for more info!

*As a reminder, "Virtualizations!" are my highly curated, virtual event offerings. If you (or, a friend) have an upcoming birthday (or other virtual celebration need), I would love to be considered as your virtual event planner consultant! Together we can craft a unique and engaging virtual experience that all your attendees will be touched by! Please feel free to reach out to me HERE for more details! I look forward to working with you!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
