Prayer requests from Resonate Global Mission missionaries and ministry leaders
Prayer Points

Prayer Points from ministry leaders around the world:

  • Pray for families throughout the world whose children are enrolled in Resonate partner Christian schools. COVID-19 has made education difficult for children and parents. Pray that these families will experience the peace of Christ in the midst of stress and challenges. Pray that circumstances will not divide them but that they will draw nearer in relationship to God and one another.

  • Resonate missionaries Steve and Sandra Brauning, who serve in the Dominican Republic, give thanks for the church plant in Elias Pina near the Haitian border. “It has been really booming, starting two other satellite congregations. Pray for the raising of funds to be able to purchase a property there,” said the Braunings.

  • Give thanks for Raúl. After he joined a cooking class led by Resonate missionaries Blanca and Dave Gifford in Mexico City, God changed his life. Raúl accepted Christ, went to seminary, and now he's pastoring a church. Please pray for God to continue working in and through Raúl!

  • Tapestry Nights, a Resonate church plant partner in British Columbia, is launching an Alpha course for seekers and new believers. Please pray for the church plant as they invite people to this course. Pray that the Holy Spirit will open hearts to the truth of the gospel and strengthen new believers.

  • Pray for educators in East Asia who are persecuted because of their faith. Several teachers who participated in Educational Care trainings facilitated by Resonate have recently been arrested. Ask God to protect these teachers and the many other educators who share the gospel with students who may never have heard of Jesus.

  • Resonate missionaries Janet and Jonathan Barnhoorn in Nigeria ask you to pray for an upcoming church leader’s summit that they’re planning. “Please pray that this event will attract many people, and the right people, so that productive discussions can be had,” they said.

Your Prayer Matters!

We recently asked you to pray for ministry during COVID-19. People have been more open to the gospel, and we asked you to pray for the Holy Spirit to stir hearts.

Thank you for praying!

"God has brought more people to our trainings," said Resonate missionaries Jeong and MiSook Gho, who serve in Japan. "People are seeking God for the first time in their lives for their salvation. God led six seekers to us during this pandemic period."
