POWDERHAM ESTATE &
SPECTATORS
The Powderham Estate is closed to the public on the day of the event. Spectators are welcome to come and support for FREE. Please note that once we have packed down the event you must leave the private areas of the estate.
ROUTE DISTANCE & MARKING
In line with UK Athletics rule as the route is multi-terrain, the route distance has been measured using GPS, therefore the overall distances are approximate.
There will be marshals around the route, please follow there direction. We will also use directional arrows along with stakes and tape. Please ensure you follow the marked course and don't cut any corners! When running the trail sections stay on that trail until directed to turn off.
This is a multi terrain course with a mix of fields, trails, woodland paths and a short tarmac section. The toughest climb is in the opening mile but well rewarded with a great view at the top.
Given the rain we have had recently expect the course to be muddy in sections. We will do a route inspections the day before and update runners should anything have changed.
REFRESHMENTS
Force will be providing refreshments on the day, please bring some cash for this.
REFUND, DEFERRAL AND TRANSFER INFORMATION
From the moment we begin to organise an event, we start to incur costs. Your entry fee is invested into the cost of staging the event - everything from barriers to toilets, from printing to safety pins, from race numbers to marketing. Organising any event requires a considerable amount of forward planning, risk and expense. Therefore we are unable to offer refunds or defer entries over to the following year.
If you chose to insure your entry via Protect Group, when you entered the race - and are unable to attend your booking due to unforeseen circumstances outside of your control you may be entitled to a refund - please see full set of Refundable Terms and Conditions here. To apply for a refund, please find the instructions on how to apply in the booking confirmation email you received after payment. Please note this insurance is not provided by City Runs and we have no control over if participants are eligible for a refund.
PLEASE do your bit by doing your homework and follow our plans.
